Road Trip is a fantasy narrative through surreal landscapes based on photographs that I took on a recent road trip through the American West. On my journey, I found a world that has changed beyond recognition due to radical environmental perils. Lakes go dry from drought; hills are blackened after a fire, and the earth experiences loss. At the core of my work is a deep search to find a new place in the world to call home and to regain a sense of belonging in the midst of change.
